Synopsis

Siffrin awakens back in the meadow after being told by the Head Housemaiden that she could not save them. Their mental state proceeds to worsen almost immediately, eventually convinced that the only way out is to deal the last blow to King and grant the people of Vaugarde's wish, but is unable to see his companions as anything other than fictional actors. He attempts to preform everyone's Friendquests, but their spiraling mental state cause them to snap at everyone by calling out their personal failings, upsetting and alienating his teammates. When he goes to the Favor Tree to talk to Loop about their new idea, Loop shoots it down, stating it can't be the answer. This causes Siffrin breakdown before cursing Loop, calling them out for being aware of there being no way to break the loops. He leaves before Loop can stop them to apologize. Upon reaching the clocktower, he overhears the party planning on leaving them behind due to his sudden personality shift, causing Sif to run off and enter the House by themselves to face the King. After traveling a very glitched up version of the House full of illusions brought by Siffrin's downward spiral and various loops, he eventually reaches the King. As they fight, Siffrin's exhaustion due to the loops and running through the House has him black out. Walking up in a void, he soon confronts a shadowy Sadness that resembles themself, cursing them out in the voices of his companions before stating everyone will leave him. As Siffrin begins to let the Sadness take him, the party suddenly arrives for Mirabelle to reflect an attack from the King back at him. As he is frozen, the King finally begins to remember the forgotten county, but is frozen before he can say anything about it. As the party then reveals, after Siffrin left, they looked around Dormount to try and find them, only to run into Loop, who used the (Call Loop.) Craft to lead them through the House and save them. As the party then walks towards the Head Housemaiden, Siffrin's sanity is shown to be abysmal while reality itself is shown breaking down as the sky turns red. After reaching her, only to find the Head just as glitched up as the House, Siffrin begins to accept just staying the loops forever, only to finally snap when the Head mentions that everyone can "go home", prompting Siffrin to use Wish Craft to become a towering dark version of themselves dubbed "The Played One". Odile attacks Siffrin in a panic, causing them to either attack the party or themselves for being "hated". The party attempts to get through Siffrin as they break down, and slowly begin to realize they are trapped in a time loop. As Siffrin panics and prepares to loop again, Odile manages to stop them, holding them in place for the everyone to ask them what he wished for. This causes Siffrin to revert to normal (and lose their hat) as they fall. As they fall, Siffrin finally reveals what he wished for "to stay with everyone". Everyone restates their care for them, finally freeing Siffrin from the loops. The world now back to normal, Siffrin once more apologizes for everything that happened. The party, while still upset, comforts them while agreeing to go journeying together for a little longer before the Head Housemaiden awakens and speaks to the party.

Walkthrough

Talk to Mirabelle and help her but, try to save time but hurt her. Do the same thing to Bonnie, then Odile and finally Isabeau. Talk to Loop and argue with them. You will then go to the clocktower and decide that you need to try and beat the king alone. Go through the warped version of the house (it is all jumbled and random, so just try and walk through everywhere until you go the right way). Fight the king by yourself. When he is around 10% health, you will end up in the void. You will fight someone who looks like you called Mal Du Pays. You can attack, but do no damage. It will warp into your friends and tell you how much they hate you. You will then be woken up by your party members and they will help you fight The King. Mirabelle will freeze him in time. After the fight, Isabeau will help you hold your ground. Walk up to the Head Housemaiden and find her breaking. You will then turn huge and fight your friends. Don't attack your friends and hurt yourself, Mirabelle will constantly heal you. Everyone will try talking to you but Siffrin will tell them that they don't want everyone to go their sepperate ways. You will then tell everyone that you wished to be together even after saving Vauguard. Everyone will agree with you. The Head Housemaiden will come back no longer broken. Talk to everyone again, but if you have gotten the achievement for remembering the incident, do not talk to the Head Housemaiden yet.
