Pun Event
The Pun Event (as it is called by the community), refers to an optional event available in ACT 4 of In Stars and Time. It awards Memory of Puns and the You've said this joke before achievement. Furthermore, it also unlocks additional dialogue for Isabeau in ACT 6.
Summary
During ACT 4, the loops begin to take a heavy toll on Siffrin’s liveliness and enthusiasm. Isabeau notices this and tells them some puns about time in order to cheer them up. He is successful the first time, but Siffrin forgets to laugh during the subsequent loops. Isabeau tries a final joke, about how one should never take up time traveling because there is no future in it. This reminds Siffrin of their own timeloop predicament and they burst into an unhinged fit of laughter, worrying Isabeau.

Requirements
- Enter ACT 4.
- When talking to Isabeau in front of the Favor Tree, choose the “(Stay silent.)” dialogue option.
- Repeat for three loops.
Dialogue changes
Throughout the loops, Isabeau will make additional jokes in order to make Siffrin laugh, which can help the player know how close they are to finishing the event. The changes are as follow:
- First joke: "Do you know what I think about 6:30?" "I think 6:30 is HANDS DOWN the best time of the day!!!"
- Second joke: "Yesterday, I bought like ten watches. Do you know why?" "Because I have a lot of time on my hands!!!"
- Third joke: "Okay, so, why shouldn’t you take up time travel?" "Easy." "Because there’s no future in it!!!"

Memory of Puns is a memory that can be equipped by Isabeau. It increases his chance of dealing a critical hit by 15%.
Achievement
You've said this joke before is the achievement awarded for the event above. Internal files refer to it as "isaquest_joke".
It activates at the end of the third conversation with Isabeau.
