"Rock attacks it is!" (Isabeau)
"This might be a good opportunity to build up Jackpot points, everyone. Let's use the same Craft Type five times in a row!" (Odile)

[Upon examining it while Scissors type is active, in In Stars and Time DEMO]

"It's not advertising its new Craft Type anymore..." (Odile)
"Sounds like we'll have to try stuff out and see what hits!!!" (Isabeau)

[Upon examining it after changing to an unknown type, in In Stars and Time DEMO]

Calamité changes types between Special rock.png Rock, Special paper.png Paper and Special scissors.png Scissors as the battle goes on: since it has no hands, the only way to tell its current type is through the sign it flashes on its head upon changing to a new type.

However, it sometimes won't do so — making a type change noise but not displaying it: the best way to tell it whenever that happens is to hit it with regular attacks, as it will only take damage from types it's currently weak to, or to observe with which attack it hits the characters, since the animation corresponding to its type will be displayed.
